SESC Membership Any surgeon who meets the educational criteria is eligible for membership in the Southeastern Surgical Congress. Membership is not limited in number, nor is it exclusive. Surgeons in training can benefit from membership by participating in the educational activities and networking opportunities at the annual scientific meeting. Types of Membership Available: Regular Fellow - A surgeon who is a diplomat of an approved surgical Board* who resides in the territory*** of the Congress. Affiliate Fellow - A surgeon who has completed an approved residency but has not passed the respective Board exams. Associate Fellow - A surgeon who is a diplomat of an approved surgical Board who resides outside the territory of the Congress. Resident Fellow - A resident who is in training in an approved** residency program. * Approved by the American Board of Medical Specialties NOTE: Dues for 2006-2007 fiscal year (July 1, 2006 - June 30,
2007) are $180 for all categories of membership except residents. New
fellows, except residents, are assessed an initiation fee of $100 the
first year. Dues for residents are $35. All members receive a subscription
to the journal of the Congress, THE AMERICAN SURGEON. DO NOT SEND PAYMENT OF DUES WITH THE APPLICATION! |
